The Author

Hello, I'm Teri

I'm a children's book author, storyteller, and lifelong performer, and my work is inspired by family, culture, food, and the memories that stay with us. As a mother, I write heartfelt stories rooted in the special moments I've shared with my own children and the traditions passed down through my family.

I studied opera and theater at a renowned performing arts high school in New York City, and spent many years in musical theater, ballroom dancing, stand-up comedy, and comedy writing. That background is where the warmth, humor, and heart in my books comes from — and through my stories, I hope to celebrate childhood, family history, and the love that lives on through everyday moments.
